It is said that the brain is divided into two hemispheres, the left and the right. Creative thinking, also known as lateral thinking, is the use of the right side of the brain to get ideas. But the right brain alone is not involved in the process of getting ideas. Ideas are based on information gathered and stored in the left-brain through learning.
